Computer Mapping
The Tangipahoa Parish Assessor and the Tangipahoa Parish Clerk of Court joined efforts in 1996 to create parcel maps. We continuously perform quality control checks on the drawings that have been completed and update those drawing as changes of property owners occur.The mapping department is located in the Clerk of Court's Office at the Amite Courthouse. One may contact the mapping department by calling (985) 748-4146. The Assessor's Office also has access to these ownership maps.
Persons wanting copies of ownership maps, with or without aerial photography, must contact the mapping department in the Clerk of Court's Office for these services. The parcel maps are not available on the Internet.
